Within a short, four-month period, Lynne Golodner and her team at your : people mounted a successful public relations campaign on behalf of the Motor City Wine and Food Festival. Only in its third year, the MCWFF sought a firm which would provide media coverage of one major event in support of the Oakland Literacy Council. Lynne and her group came through with flying colors. As a result of arranging newspaper, magazine, and television interviews, securing items for an auction basket, interviewing and creating photo stories on poster boards, and putting the Steering Committee in contact with numerous resources, the event was a grand success. In short, your : people worked on behalf of the MCWFF to, as Lynne stated, “get our brand out there.” Indeed, as a result of our partnership, the MCWFF netted funds for the Oakland Literacy Council.
