Lynne Golodner is passionate about storytelling, empowering people and organizations to find their voice and use it to improve their communities. A writer, author, entrepreneur, and Fulbright Specialist, Lynne has focused her career on creating compelling stories and building authentic relationships. She’s worked for herself since 1998, often rising at 5 a.m. to start her workday if it means she can chaperone a field trip or row the Detroit River before sunset with her husband.
After 15 years as a journalist, Lynne created Your People LLC in 2007 to guide organizations & entrepreneurs in building the bottom line through strategic storytelling, relationships & higher purpose. The company wins awards for creative, innovative work, and Lynne has built a dedicated team of talented professionals who love providing out-of-the-box support to dynamic, unique clients. Lynne inspires audiences nationwide, speaking on the power of storytelling, relationships & higher purpose to build business.
The author of 8 books, Lynne is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA) and Goddard College (MFA), and worked as a writer in New York, Washington, D.C., and Detroit before jumping into entrepreneurship. Lynne lives with her husband and four children in metro Detroit, where she rows, swims, plays tennis, bakes bread and works with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and businesses driven by higher purpose.
Lynne’s latest book, The Flavors of Faith: Holy Breads, focuses on how bread connects people. In 2016, Lynne created One Earth Writing, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to building confidence and voice in teens from different races, religions, and socioeconomic origins.
